Cancellations and Refunds

WFK will only cancel events due to circumstances beyond our control, and in the unlikely event this does happen, we would offer an alternative date or a full refund.

If the customer cancels the event, the effective date of cancellation will be the date that we receive the cancellation in writing, preferably by email to hello@wilsonsfarmandkitchen.com

With this in mind, the following charges will apply:

For Field to Fork Tours, Tractor & Trailer Tours, Breakfast Safaris, 25 Mile Borders Feast, 25 Mile Roast Lunch and all other tours and dining events hosted by WFK.

If the cancellation is received more than 2 weeks prior to the booked event – 25% cancellation charge.

If the cancellation is received less than 5 days prior to the event – 50% cancellation charge.

If the cancellation is received less than 48 hours in advance of the booked event – 100% cancellation charge.

If no notification of the cancellation is received, no refund will be issued.

We regret no refunds will be issued if the Customer is late for an event.

Insurance

WFK has full public liability insurance, and we will always endeavour to ensure the safety of our guests and reduce any risks. Please remember that this is a working farm and follow all instructions issued for your own safety.

Force Majeure

WFK does not accept any liability for loss, inconvenience or damage caused by war, threat of war, riot or civil commotion, terrorist or criminal activity, industrial disputes, natural disasters, fires, sickness, weather conditions, road or traffic conditions, temporary mechanical or electrical breakdown, explosion of or radioactive contamination from any nuclear facility, or other events beyond the control of WFK.

Reduction in Numbers

The Customer must inform WFK in writing of any reduction in numbers, and be aware that our events and activities have a minimum charge as detailed on our website. Charges for a reduction in numbers are as follows:

If the reduction in numbers is received more than 2 weeks prior to the booked event – 25% cancellation charge.

If the reduction in numbers is received less than 5 days prior to the event – 50% cancellation charge.

If the reduction in numbers is received less than 48 hours in advance of the booked event – 100% cancellation charge.

If no notification of the reduction in numbers is received, no refund will be issued.

We regret no refunds will be issued if the Customer is late for an event.

Minimum Numbers / Charges

Minimum Charges for our tours are detailed on the website.

For the 25 Mile Borders Feast and 25 Mile Roast Lunch and all other dining events, WFK reserve the right to cancel if the number of bookings is not sufficient, and in this situation, WFK would offer an alternative date or a full refund.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted on any of our tours, or in any of our inside spaces. Please dispose of any cigarette butts with other rubbish.

Children

We welcome children on our Tours. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Please keep children supervised at all times and follow all instructions with regard to their safety on our working farm. Any parties not complying with this may be asked to leave and no refund given.

Dogs

We love dogs but we regret that they are not permitted on Field to Fork Tours, Tractor & Trailer Tours, Breakfast Safaris or in The Stables with the exception of official assistance dogs. If you are bringing an assistance dog, please make us aware of this before your visit.

Weather

Tours will take place in all weather deemed safe by the Directors of WFK – please dress accordingly. In the unlikely event that the weather was deemed unsafe, WFK would offer an alternative date or a full refund. The above mentioned cancellation policy applies for events cancelled by customers due to weather conditions. If the weather is particularly wet, we may in SOME instances, be able to offer an alternative date.

Clothing

For all Farm Tours, we would recommend wearing comfortable, waterproof boots and a waterproof jacket. Please dress sensibly for the outdoors.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.
