25 Mile Roast Lunch

Join us for our 25 mile Sunday Roast! Ingredients from our own farm and kitchen garden, or from local producers within a 25 mile radius, form the basis of a delicious and seasonal 3 course Sunday lunch in The Stables. There is no menu as it will be based on what is in season at the time, there will be plenty to keep your tastebuds tantalised - a real treat for foodies!

The Scottish Borders has an amazing variety of ingredients to complement the meal: Eyemouth Seafood, locally sourced game, Scotch Lamb and Beef, delicious cheeses, artisan bread, amazing soft fruits – the list goes on and on. Many of them sourced directly from our farm or garden!

As farmers, we are keen to promote locally produced meat. We source our meat very judiciously, only using our own beef and lamb or meat from other local farms who share the same commitment to high welfare, grass-based farming as ourselves.

This event begins with an optional short farm tour. Remember to bring sensible footwear and a warm jacket. Your host will also explain the menu and the provenance of the ingredients and the story behind the food.

Please note – tap water is supplied but please BYO drinks. Although we can cater for some dietary requirements with notice, we would respectfully suggest that this is not an event for those with very restricted diets. If in doubt, please contact us before booking.
