Farm Tours & Food Experiences
Curry Nights
The origins of how we came to be known for Curry Nights can be traced back to the first covid lockdown in 2020 when Lucy started doing takeaway food for hungry, bored locals. Demand for this grew from week to week and then when allowed, turned to dining here in our repurposed grain bins ‘The Wee Bothies’! Now, this popular event is held year-round in The Stables, and outside during the warmer months. Our Curry Nights are known for their fun, relaxed and sociable atmosphere but most importantly, for the colourful, fresh and tasty food!
You will not be surprised to know that as farmers, we source all the meat we use in our kitchens very carefully and use our own Hereford Beef and our lamb whenever possible. This is no different for the Curry Nights and where we also incorporate fruit, vegetables and salad from our large kitchen garden. We work closely with our neighbours Clifton Lodge Smallholding who provide us with fantastic Oxford Sandy and Black Pork and our local butcher and fishmonger to make sure that all the meat and seafood we use, is both high welfare and of a high standard.
These events are held on specific dates and are BYOB with glassware and tap water supplied.
Please contact us for private parties for larger groups.
‘Everyone is welcome at Wilson’s Farm & Kitchen however because of our team size and set menu dining style, we would respectfully point out that this is an event for adventurous diners and not suitable for people with very restricted diets or very limited tastes. Also please be aware that we operate a small kitchen with a small team and whilst every effort is made to prevent cross contamination, we are not a suitable venue for those with very serious allergies or very specific dietary needs. If in doubt, please contact us before booking’
