Our food from field to fork
Seasonal food with provenance is our philosophy, and we source locally whenever possible, to create delicious food!
The Farmhouse’s original Kitchen Garden and Orchard supplies much of the fruit and vegetables used for our catering. We source our meat very judiciously, only using our own Scotch Hereford Beef and Herdwick Lamb or meat from other local farms who share to same commitment to high welfare, grass-based farming as we do.
The Scottish Borders has a vibrant and rapidly developing food community, and we are lucky to be able to incorporate the growing selection of high-quality artisan products into our menus. As farmers, we are totally committed to promoting the farms, food and flavours of our local area and the journey of our food from field to fork.

We run a range of farm tours and food experiences to suit couples, families and small groups on several dates throughout the year, visit our What’s On page for available dates and booking.
